Historical society De Brielse Maasmond

Historical society De Brielse Maasmond (formerly Friends of Brielle Historical Museum) has two tasks:

  • to support Brielle Historical Museum
  • to stimulate interest in the history of the town and the region

The association strives to achieve these goals by means of the following activities, amongst others:

  • Publishing historical articles about the town and region, particularly in its association magazine ‘Brielse Mare’.
  • Supporting the museum in the acquisition or restoration of museum objects.
  • Organising lectures about historical topics relating to the history of the town and the region.

The association was founded on 22 October 1958, and has around 330 members. The members have free entry to Brielle Historical Museum.

Further information can be found through the website of De Brielse Maasmond.
